Ligna Energy have successfully closed an internal investment round of 4.1 MSEK. The focus of this investment is to progress the development of our sensor powering battery and entering the IoT market. We see a very good fit between our sustainable materials technology and the applications relating to this growing market.

Ligna Energy have developed a new battery technology with a low environmental footprint, low cost and great safety which is made out of residue material from the forest industry. For the past six months they've been making great progress and are now able to produce the batteries through printed technologies.
